site-specific commission for Bankfield Museum, Halifax drawing, bonding & painting on silk

Site specific commission for Bankfield Museum in Halifax. It hangs next to The Pillars of Art in the Rotunda. The Veiled Lady is a bust by Italian artist Bazzanti, and stands on the mantlepiece in the library at Bankfield. I was asked to give her a body. I depicted her as if reflected in the mirror. She has a Merino sheep and a couple of marauding satyrs for company. It is currently in store as renovations are in progress. Contact the museum to view it.
